Really Classy Retail Outlet

There is much guff expounded about how Sandbanks in Poole is now the world's 4th most expensive piece of real estate, behind Singapore; Hong Kong & Manhattan.

As you can see, it's not exactly 5th Avenue as the above shop above attests.

Basically, this store has retained its likeably sand-blown shabbiness; little different since John Lennon bought his fags there 40yrs ago.

Once an English sea-side resort; always and English sea-side resort.

Beverly Hills it aint.

Thank goodness some examples of that particular style of mass-produced shop lettering are still in mint condition. Enjoy it now before the National Trust puts out a selection of Christmas gifte items in it.
My dear wife and I once walked all the way to Sandbanks from a rival seaside resort that will remain nameless and were caught in the last 300 yards by a violent squall, which soaked all our clothing. We sneaked into the Sandbanks Hotel, and crept into the basement, where the managers kept its large laundry facility. Here we took off all our wet clothes and put them into the most enormous tumble-dryer i have ever seen, set them to dry for X minutes without even having to insert £12 in 20p pieces, and hid for a while. I'd happily pay the 2million quid per square foot that seems to be the going Sandbanks rate nowadays to have that afternoon again.
